Plose

Plose (1,070 – 2,500 meters a.s.l.) is the name of Bressanone’s city mountain. Once arrived at the top, you have an unparalleled view of the full majesty of the Dolomites including the Geisler, Sella, Langkofel and Schlern Mountain and of the Sarntal Alps to the right. This sunny ski area offers 43 kilometers of well-prepared pistes with some terrific descents through the woods. 10 modern lifts, slopes for every level of expertise and traditional mountain huts all contribute to your perfect snow fun. The most famous downhill run is the “Trametsch” with its 9 kilometers down to the bottom station: it is a very attractive challenge, being the longest run of this kind in South Tyrol. Your offspring can expect a full programme of activities in the “Ski Kindergarten”. For freestylers, snowboarders and traditional skiers there is the “Snow Fun Park” where they can try tricks and jumps. And even if you aren’t into skiing, you can have a good time in many other ways: try the romantic winter hiking trails, the exciting tobogganing runs, adventurous ski tours or the extended cross-country skiing runs.
