Historical vaults, tiled stoves from the turn of the last century, wainscoted parlours, traditional craftsmanship and the atmosphere of bygone centuries, full of eventful moments and human encounters – these are the characteristics of the Stafler heritage, enhanced by the centuries-old hospitality of the family.
The Hotel Stafler is the ideal starting point for excursions to the most famous castles and fortresses as well as to the vineyards of South Tyrol. Other attractions are the quaint medieval town of Vipiteno, distant only 10 minutes by car, and the equally charming bishops’ town of Bressanone, where you can stroll into elegant boutiques or simply enjoy a cappuccino in one of the many lively portico cafés. At the free disposal of the hotel guests there are modern electrical bikes, so that they can all the better explore these and other exciting places in the surrounding Isarco Valley.
Our excellent cuisine has been appraised by restaurant guides from all over Europe, in the form of stars and toques for our gourmet restaurant “Einhorn” (“Unicorn”). Our cosy “Gasthofstube” (lounge of the ancient inn) is also an attraction with its South Tyrolean and Mediterranean specialties, prepared with top quality ingredients coming from our own farm, from other local farmers or in any case from South Tyrolean suppliers with quality certifications.
Both the seekers of romanticism as well as the gourmets can benefit from our professional wellness programme, including massages and beauty treatments, and they can use our indoor pool, the steam bath and the sauna. During school holiday periods in the summer the Hotel Stafler becomes a true Family Hotel, with exciting possibilities to get close to nature on our farming estate.
